Hey Dirt Dancers,
We know everybody has a lot of questions about 2020 Dances with Dirt Gnaw Bone. First and foremost the health and safety of our staff and participants will always come first. As of today the CDC recommendation is to not have public gatherings until May 3, 2020. Dances With Dirt falls two weeks after that date and is still 8 weeks away from today. We have seen things change day to day and hour by hour across the country for several weeks now. At this time the event is still slated to go on as scheduled! We will of course adhere to anything that the CDC recommends going forward, but know that the race has not been cancelled or postponed at this time. We hope the country can come together and STAY HOME so we can kick this virus to the curb! We miss our participants and we will keep our fingers crossed that our first event back after this crisis is the 2020 Dances with Dirt Gnaw Bone!
Because nobody is registering for races at this time (but you still can and we wouldn't mind.. really!!!) we will push the price increase date to April 27th!
Stay safe, stay home! We'll see you when we see you!
Get ready to run with us May 16, 2020!
For those of you unfamiliar with Brown County, Indiana, the terrain will bring you shock and awe! Vicious 600’ ridges, breathtaking natural beauty and wicked trails abound. Gnaw Bone is about one mile out of Nashville, IN, an artisan community with over 200 galleries. A picture postcard of a town and definitely worth a visit, just 3 miles from the race start.
Home of the the world’s most difficult 10K. Expect double your road time and triple the effort!
Note: The other race distances, 13.1, 26.2, 50K, 50 miles and 100K relay courses are … We might say, “challenging”, so as not to scare you off, but then, we’d be lying! Come join us at the bone and see what you’re made of.
The reward: post race beer and a jammin’ good time at the finish! Yee Haw!
The Dirt Crew, at your service and doin’ it in the Dirt, just for you!
